Who we are

ALL is an artist-led collective, co-founded by Fayen d’Evie, Jon Tjhia and Lloyd Mst.

Fayen d’Evie
Fayen is an artist and academic at the forefront of artist-led and disability-led experimental art and design. In 2015, in response to degenerative vision, Fayen re- oriented her creative practice through blindness. This has led to influential exhibitions and scholarship, offering critical and imaginative methods that welcome audiences into sensory encounters with artworks, tactile performances, experimental audiodescription, gestural typography, and access as a force for creative collaboration.

Fayen is a lecturer in the Master of Communication Design programme of RMIT University, teaching experimental typography, curatorial and exhibition design, and studios grounded in access and transformative pedagogies.

Jon TjhiaJon is an artist, writer and editor working through radio and podcast, literature, photomedia, music and publishing. An award-winning radiomaker and award-losing writer, his recent work is published by BBC Radio 3/4, Un Magazine, LIMINAL, the Powerhouse, Avantwhatever and WFMU.

Jon is a prolific collaborator and initiator with a chronic interest in communication, experimentation and perspective. He’s a member of Access Lab & Library and the Manus Recording Project Collective, and a co-founder of Paper Radio. He teaches Intersensory Digital Publishing and Composing Sound Spatially at RMIT University, and is widely disrespected as a musician.

Lloyd MstLloyd is a graphic designer based in Naarm, Australia. He is intrigued by nature, narrative, craft, and meaningful dialogues. Lloyd has undertaken learning within the Masters of Communication Design program at RMIT, building on his earlier studies at Werkplaats Typografie at ISIA in Urbino, Italy.

Lloyd's creative practice focuses on both physical and digital publishing, characterised by a layered approach to accessibility. His work creates unique and inclusive outcomes that invite and celebrate diverse voices—often highlighting the importance of advocacy for accessibility in design. Through his research, innovative thinking, and collaborative approach, he actively contributes to the advancement of knowledge in this realm.

Creative networkAlongside our core members, we’re grateful to be connected to members of D/deaf and disabled communities—audiences and artists—as well as an extended and diverse network of artists, technicians, advocates and writers with whom we value strong co-conspiratorial relationships.
